Connections

CareNet knows that women need real help for real problems and we offer many ways for women to receive emotional, spiritual and physical support. 

Connections is a program that “connects” a woman who has decided to carry her pregnancy with a church women’s group for additional mentoring and support.  Connections groups may reach out to women by praying for them, supplying them with physical needs and inviting them to participate in the life of their church.  A baby shower is always provided for the mother to be during the pregnancy.

The Connections Program at work:

Toni is a CareNet client who was helped through CareNet's Connections program. Toni was prayed for, given meals, a bed and bedding for her children, and a baby shower. Toni's Connections group worked on finding a church closer to her home where she could raise her children. Toni continues to have many needs, but now has a church family. The women's group was rewarded as well. The leader commented, "It has been a beautiful experience with Toni, our women's group and CareNet. Showing God's unconditional love to someone is so easy and means so much to everyone involved. This is a great program!"
